Biography

TIMOTHY STEPHEN (TIM) WAKEFIELD

Tim and his wife Stacy make their off-season home in Tim's hometown of Melbourne, FL with their son Trevor, who was born last season.  Tim attended Florida Tech in Melbourne, and was named Panthers team MVP as a first baseman as a sophomore in 1987 and as a junior in 1988.  Tim holds the school record with 40 career home runs and in 1987 set singleseason school records with 22 HR and 71 RBI.  He was the first Florida Tech player to be drafted. Tim was inducted into the Sunshine State Conference Hall of Fame on February 25, 1998 and was named to the conference's Silver Anniversary team in 2002.  He graduated from Eau Gallie High School in Melbourne, FL in 1984.
